Why Toorak pet owners choose First Paw Mobile Veterinarian

Between tight heritage driveways, busy professional schedules, and pets who find clinic visits stressful, a mobile vet simply fits Toorak life better than a traditional clinic appointment.

Skip the Toorak Road traffic and parking

Skip the drive across Toorak Road or Malvern Road and the parking hunt near Toorak Village. First Paw comes to your door at a set time.

Gentler on small breeds and senior pets

Toorak is full of Cavoodles, Frenchies and older companions. Examining them at home avoids waiting-room stress, barking strangers, and the anxiety many small dogs show in clinics.

Privacy and time that suits your schedule

First Paw Mobile Veterinarian works around you. Appointments start on time in your home or garden, with no shared waiting room and no rushed consult.

Toorak Pets Live well, and First Paw Mobile Veterinarian aims to keeps it that way.

Morning walks along the Yarra trail at Como Park, off-leash runs at Grant Avenue Reserve, and weekend strolls through Toorak Village mean plenty of exposure to grass seeds, paspalum, and the occasional bindi picked up in Orrong Park. If your dog comes home itching after a loop around Hedgeley Dene Gardens, or your cat slips out into the leafy backyards off St Georges Road, a same-week home visit is easier than squeezing into a clinic. For pampered cats who never leave the house, annual checks happen on the windowsill they already love. Dr Laurence covers all of Toorak, 3142, without the stress of a car trip down Toorak Road.

Excellent advice and care. Seriously well recommended, Laurence (Vet) was extremely helpful, spent time, asked lots of questions, great knowledge base and overall exceptional service.

Our first visit from Dr Laurence was fantastic. We have 4 furry family members (2 dogs and 2 cats). It was so convenient having a home visit for their vaccinations especially the cats who hate being bundled into the carrier and freak out at the vet. Dr Laurence is such a natural with animals and had them all very relaxed and happy to have their check ups and shots (even the cats who normally are less than keen to be handled ). He was super patient and reassuring and very thorough checking on all aspects of their health. The trimming the nails of a cat who was less than thrilled at the prospect and normally loses it if anyone tries, was particularly appreciated. Booking was straightforward online and the cost was very reasonable. Thanks Dr Laurence - Muffy, Mojo, Callie and Andy look forward to your next visit (and the treats!). We will definitely use you again and highly recommend to others.

Laurance is a really nice and professional vet. He let me know more about my pets and gave me some useful advice. Moreover, he is punctual and be patient on my questions. So I will highly recommend to choose Laurance to be your pet’s vet.

I booked an appointment with First Paw to come and vaccinate my rather anxious 10 year old Weimaraner Dempsey - Great experience all round !! Dempsey loved the vet and it really took away all the anxiety and pain of getting him to the vet - will definitely use First Paw again, he really knew his stuff and was so lovely to my dog!! Thanks First Paw!

Lawrence is a wonderful vet. He called me before coming into my home and asked a lot of questions about my cat Jimmi. So he is really thorough, which I really appreciate. Unfortunately Jimmi isn't a fan of strangers or strange people touching her (same 😆) But with some sedation on her second visit, he managed to do a thorough examination and vaccination. And also gave me some great advice on what to look for when finding a vet to do her dental work. Will definitely be using his services for any future issues with Jimmi.

Highly recommend Laurence and “first paws”. Laurence was super responsive, I was able to book an appointment for the next day. Laurence provided assessment for my kitty cat and was able to administer and prescribe pain relief all without me having to leave home and trying to get an unhappy cat to the vet. Thanks so much Laurence 🙂
