Mobile Vet in Hawthorn

Dr Laurence is fantastic. I don't have a car, so having a mobile vet coming to my place to check my dog's injured paw is excellent. Thanks for following up regarding Maxie's issue.

I can’t thank Dr Laurence and First Paw Mobile Vet enough for today! My poor old cat developed a very painful lump on his spine and was so uncomfortable and irritable that the vets at the clinic couldn’t even get close enough for a proper exam. They sent us home with some pain relief and advise to monitor, but he still wasn’t himself. I was worried about putting my boy through another stressful car trip and vet visit, so when Dr Laurence came to us, it was a huge relief! Dr Laurence was calm, confident, and incredibly gentle, taking the time to carefully examine my cat right at home. He explained all the possible causes of the lump and talked me through treatment options. Together, we made a plan that made me feel confident and at ease. I’ve never seen my cat so relaxed during and after a vet visit, and the cost was no more than a regular clinic appointment! If your cat gets stressed easily, Dr Laurence is the vet you want. His kindness and expertise made all the difference to us, and I’m so grateful we found him. Thank you again!! 🐈‍⬛🐾

We had such a great experience with Dr. Laurence when it came to vaccinating our 4 year old dog, who was too anxious and stressed to set foot in our regular vet clinic after multiple attempts. Laurence showed patience, kindness and persistence throughout his home visit and was able to get the job done efficiently. Like many people I bought a puppy during COVID. Trying to get to Vets that were Open, and had availability, plus maintaining social distancing was difficult. I stumbled over First Paw while researching my options. Finding a vet that did home visits in a safe and professional manner was awesome! They have been with me through the whole gamut of pet owning, from Vaccinations, through to puppy infections, plus I have an allergy dog. First Paw are very responsive when looking for advice, or what to do in an emergency, and all my puppy needs.

First time using a mobile vet and Dr Laurence was wonderful with my anxious dog. He was very patient and gentle with my dog who suffers from anxiety and is fearful of people. He was on time, professional, knowledgable and provided lots of information. Would happily use First Paw services again in future. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend First Paw, my cat was so much calmer having a vet attend to her at home. I think she even liked Laurence despite all the prodding and poking as he has a nice caring demeanour which put her (and her distressed human - me) at ease. Thank you!

What a fantastic find. Laurence was calm, gentle and best of all at our place. Getting vaccinations for my cats was such a smooth and easy process for all of us when i didnt have to wrestle them into carriers, take them in the car and have them sit in a waiting room with strange dogs, cats and smells.
