Requested Dr Laurence come to my house for my cute Bengal kittens final F3 shot. He was so lovely, my kitten was really non fussed by the experience. Dr Laurence then checked in with me a couple of days later to make sure she was alright. She was and so was I as the worried cat mama, so I’ll definitely be calling on First Paws again next time I need a vet.
Despite all good reviews, our experience was not satisfactory. We chose standard health check $149 for our cat’s acne and additional cat $89 just because the vet already visited. We feel the session was too rushing and didn’t feel all our concerns were addressed. We would just think of it as for the sake of getting the cream (ilium Dermotic Ear & Skin Suspension $49). We will visit proper vet clinic next time considering it has all medical equipments as well. Besides, their enquiry email does not seem to be monitored. They didn’t reply to my email asking for the vet’s full name and registration number. It was for me to confirm the information for insurance claim. I called the receptionist and she told me she would get it replied but still no reply.
Highly recommended! Apqrt from the obvious ease of a vet coming to your home, Laurence is incredibly professional as well. Taking time to establish why id called on the phone first, everything was covered to ensure on arrival, he knew exactly what he was looking for. He put me at ease knowing Archie the Ginger Tom was doing ok. Archie doesnt live being touched so gentle care during vaccination was appreciated. Thanks Laurence, will see you next time!

My cat isn't the fussiest but I don't drive and he is very heavy to carry, so I opted for a mobile vet. Booking is easy – you can call or book online. The person answering the phone was very friendly and helpful. First Paw was very prompt and very gentle with my cat. The check up, vaccination, and recommendations were handled super efficiently and with care. Aftercare was provided via texted links to PDFs (love this as I am swamped with emails and can't stand loose paper). Very grateful that all pandemic guidelines were followed as I live in a small space, and it made me feel very safe. Thank you, First Paw. The absolute best doctor for your baby. He was so friendly and helpful. So knowledgeable and super thorough with his diagnosis. He was so gentle to my baby girl Duri and his prices were honestly so good!! While other money hungry clinics were charging 200 dollars for a 5 min consultation, he went out of his ways to call before entering my house to ask about her temperament, her diet, her history,.. EVERYTHING!! He didn’t even mind coming into my bathroom do all the examinations because of how anxious Duri was. Literal god sent. Could not recommend more!! Soooo convenient in terms of not having to travel anywhere but also reduces the stress of being in a carrier for my cat. She got noticeably better after just two days too!! I honestly cannot thank Dr. Laurence enough- you can really tell he does this job because he actually cares! ❤️

This is an excellent service. Laurence is a very skilled and professional vet who treated my mum’s beagle. Indie is a very anxious dog and had infected & inflamed eyes. Despite two trips to the vet, they didn’t improve as her anxiety and twitchiness prevented the vet from being able to properly inspect and treat her eyes. This made a home visit by Laurence the perfect solution. After a visit from Laurence and a treatment course, Indie’s eyes were back to normal after only a few days. I couldn’t more highly recommend Laurence and first paw mobile vet to care for your beloved animals. Laurence is so thorough, knowledgeable and attentive to your pet’s needs. .
Laurence was very through and caring. He was respectful of my dogs attitude to strangers and in particulary vets without neglecting him. He asked lots of question to be able to understand my dogs issues. Happy how the experience went as there was no stressful scenes trying to get my dog to a vet. We had a great experience using first Paw Mobile Vet. Before entering the premises our Vet took the time to have a pre briefing discussion to discuss concerns and symptoms we had been noticing- our cat had just returned after running away for 7 days. When he came in to do the consultation he was professional and friendly, he took his time to thoroughly complete a health check on our cat and was very knowledgeable in prescribing a course of medication to help with her recovery. In addition to this he also checked in via text in the days following to see how she was doing and if recovery was going a expected. The pricing was fair and the convenience of having someone visit our home rather than putting our pet under stress by travelling into a clinic was worthwhile. Would recommend them!
Dr Laurence came to our house earlier this week to treat our Staffy x who had been unwell for a few days. He arrived before time and greeted us all so warmly and with such a calm demeanour. He took the time to listen to the history as he sat on the floor giving our usually highly anxious dog a chance to relax and approach Laurence in his own time. Laurence was extremely knowledgable and took the time to explain everything in detail, making sure every base was covered. He works closely with the local vet clinics and is careful to present the options. He even discovered a dental issue with our dog that had previously gone unnoticed so that was a bonus of the examination. Vet visits are usually highly stressful for us and our dog so this was such a positive experience, one that we would highly recommend for any pet owner. We will be using First Paw Mobile Vet Service from now on and have already recommended Laurence to friends and neighbours.

First Paws was a fantastic experience! My staffy Marli becomes anxious around other dogs which makes seeing a vet difficult. Laurence was communicative, knowledgeable, and empathetic. He connected with Marli easily. He genuinely listened to our concerns and her history, and made helpful, insightful recommendations in order to benefit her health. Furthermore, he paid attention to her wellbeing -not just her physical health- which is imperative but can be hard to find in a vet. I highly recommend First Paws.

Dr Laurence was COVID SAFE, friendly and thorough. He handled Brian the cat with care and listened carefully to our concerns. He was able to drain Brian’s cyst expertly and quickly, with Brian’s comfort as high priority. We will definitely using this service again as Brian is blind and his vet stress when he has to be carted elsewhere is off the charts. He patiently gave fundamental instructions regarding health and care of the puppy and he did more than just vaccination but a complete check up. Lawrence is a wonderful vet. He called me before coming into my home and asked a lot of questions about my cat Jimmi. So he is really thorough, which I really appreciate. Unfortunately Jimmi isn't a fan of strangers or strange people touching her (same 😆) But with some sedation on her second visit, he managed to do a thorough examination and vaccination. And also gave me some great advice on what to look for when finding a vet to do her dental work. Will definitely be using his services for any future issues with Jimmi.
Dr Laurence puts your mind at ease and is a professional vet. The at home service is convenient for our shy rescue cat who prefers to be in her home surroundings. Typically she likes to venture off and hide, but Laurence has a way of making her feel calm whilst getting her vaccine and check-up. The service is convenient and affordable. The only wish I had, was to have a remember client detail booking feature so we don't have to refill the appointment form each time. Other than that, the service is exceptional. I can’t thank Dr Laurence and First Paw Mobile Vet enough for today! My poor old cat developed a very painful lump on his spine and was so uncomfortable and irritable that the vets at the clinic couldn’t even get close enough for a proper exam. They sent us home with some pain relief and advise to monitor, but he still wasn’t himself. I was worried about putting my boy through another stressful car trip and vet visit, so when Dr Laurence came to us, it was a huge relief! Dr Laurence was calm, confident, and incredibly gentle, taking the time to carefully examine my cat right at home. He explained all the possible causes of the lump and talked me through treatment options. Together, we made a plan that made me feel confident and at ease. I’ve never seen my cat so relaxed during and after a vet visit, and the cost was no more than a regular clinic appointment! If your cat gets stressed easily, Dr Laurence is the vet you want. Loved the convenience! Dr Laurence was very helpful, I have a newborn and both my newborn and wife were sick and we needed to take Rocco to the Vet and instead we got Laurence to come and asisst without having to leave the house. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Will tell friends.
I was really impressed by the service from Dr Laurence. My previous mobile vet had shut down so I found First Paw Mobile through an internet search and was able to get an appointment in less than a week to undertake an annual health check for my cat. Dr Laurence conducts a quick five-minute call with you prior to entering the property so he can get background information on your pet and to identify the best way to care for it during the visit. Once inside, he was very caring with my cat, making sure he didn't do anything to cause any stress. Dr Laurence did a full check and was able to vaccinate my cat, which was great given cat vaccines are hard to come by in Australia at the moment. He also provided guidance on cat teeth cleaning (I had not been made aware of this from previous vets) and gave information and advice on how to manage and seek treatment. Five days after my visit, Dr Laurence followed up with a message to see how my cat was and if there were any issues following the vaccination. To me, this really showed the good level of service that First Paw Mobile provides to ensure your pet is safe and well. I will definitely be using First Paw Mobile going forward and would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking to use a mobile / home visit service.

I was thrilled to find a mobile pet service as I didn't want to traumatise my kitten taking him out in the cold in a taxi. Laurence was on time and very kind and friendly. He took his time to do what was needed for my kitten's first check up (since I brought him home) and booster vax. Laurence gave me lots of advice on teeth health for animals and any issues to look out for in the future. 100% recommendation.

Wasn't sure what to expect with the mobile vet - but I thought it was worth a shot. Going to the vet used to be such an ordeal with 2 x adult rottweiler x french mastiffs - I would have to take them separately, and would be so nervous about whether there would be other pets in the small lobby, etc. In contrast, Dr Laurence came to our house (this was outside his normal area, but for a small fee didn't mind coming). He called in advance and took time to understand what my concerns were. He was very up front about any limitations that home visits offer (he obviously doesn't have all the testing and facilities of a normal vet). However - i was willing to give it a go. The day of the visit, we did one dog at a time in the carport (COVID-19), and he was very thorough with their examinations. He noticed issues my previous vet hadn't and was also was able to take some samples of some suspicious looking lumps (which he then sends away for fast testing), and meant I didn't have to get this done in-house at a vet. I liked the fact he was very detailed - didn't shrug off any of my concerns. Dr Laurence has a positive attitude and a really laid-back, friendly demeanour. He was good with the dogs, and very generous with his time. He followed up to see how the dogs were going, and called to explain the results a few days later. Would definitely recommend First Paw...general health checks can be done in the ease of your own home - and if your pets need follow up care in-house at a vet clinic, he'll advise on where to go/and what to request.

Dr Laurence is amazing. His home service is easy to book, reliable, well priced and my frenchies just love him. I started using his service during covid and will continue to in the future as it’s soooo much easier than trying to wrangle two excitable dogs into the car and manage them in a vets surgery. Just the smells of lots of other animals in the vets sends them both into a frenzy and we usually all come home exhausted. With the home service they are calm (well, as much as they can be) and are happy to be examined as they’re in their home environment. It’s just so easy and a service I highly recommend. 😁

Like many people I bought a puppy during COVID. Trying to get to Vets that were Open, and had availability, plus maintaining social distancing was difficult. I stumbled over First Paw while researching my options. Finding a vet that did home visits in a safe and professional manner was awesome! They have been with me through the whole gamut of pet owning, from Vaccinations, through to puppy infections, plus I have an allergy dog. First Paw are very responsive when looking for advice, or what to do in an emergency, and all my puppy needs.
100% recommend, on time, caring and took a personal interest, even went above and beyond to reach out the next day to check up on how the cat was doing after a simple yearly injection..

Even though the visit was very short (Kitty got overwhelmed..), he gave me a lot of reassurance and advice for me and Kitty which I truly appreciate. Loved the First Paw Mobile Vet service. We have two cats that get quite anxious in car rides, so we decided to try a mobile vet and loved the experience. Laurence was very thorough and was great at taking me through the components of the check up and next step. Would definitely recommend.
Laurence was brilliant - being pandemic times, he made sure to limit the amount of time spent in the apartment by having a phone chat prior to coming up. Very professional, knowledgeable and super friendly, even though Roxy wasn’t the happiest after getting her vaccination, I’m sure she was very glad to avoid the car trip to the vet! Such an easy process of booking, made the whole experience wonderful.
