I’m so so happy with my experience from first paw mobile vet. It seriously was amazing as me and my partner work a fair bit so it worked out perfectly.. The service was defiantly 5 stars!!!! Dr Laurence is fantastic! Highly recommend. We have a very anxious cat who hates going to an external vet. Dr Laurence was so patient and gentle with Oscar, and really took the time to listen and explain. We are moving interstate shortly and I was very worried about transporting Oscar. We had an amazing experience with Dr Laurence! Our poor cat was in a bad way with a very swollen face with what appeared to be an infected abscess from an injury caused by a cat or possum. Dr Laurence was very reassuring when he arrived to our home and took it one step at a time to inspect and treat our fur boy! It was so scary seeing our cat so unwell so the last thing I wanted to do was pop him in a cage to take him to the vet - it would have been even more distressing. The professionalism and empathy he showed towards myself and our cat made it clear to me that he is in the right field of work. From injections, to a shaved cheek and small procedure, temperature and weight checks - all was covered in one home visit. I take my hat off to you! Thanks for looking after our Pepi. First time using a mobile vet and Dr Laurence was wonderful with my anxious dog. He was very patient and gentle with my dog who suffers from anxiety and is fearful of people. Our first visit from Dr Laurence was fantastic. We have 4 furry family members (2 dogs and 2 cats). It was so convenient having a home visit for their vaccinations especially the cats who hate being bundled into the carrier and freak out at the vet. Dr Laurence is such a natural with animals and had them all very relaxed and happy to have their check ups and shots (even the cats who normally are less than keen to be handled ). He was super patient and reassuring and very thorough checking on all aspects of their health. The trimming the nails of a cat who was less than thrilled at the prospect and normally loses it if anyone tries, was particularly appreciated. Booking was straightforward online and the cost was very reasonable. Thanks Dr Laurence - Muffy, Mojo, Callie and Andy look forward to your next visit (and the treats!). Our family member Harry the cat needed his vax papers in order to spend 5 nights in his accomodation whilst we went for a short break. I found Laurence online & I booked an appointment for a weeks time. Laurence was on time and from the moment Harry saw him, he relaxed and had his vax, had his teeth checked and was weighed before he know what was going on. Laurence certainly had a way with animals & we would recommend him 100%

We found First Paw Mobile Vet on Instagram and booked our Burmese kitten in to have a check up and his third vaccination. Laurence happily answered all of our Cat questions, checked our boy Banjo over and administered his vaccinations all in the comfort of our home. Wasn't sure what to expect with the mobile vet - but I thought it was worth a shot. Going to the vet used to be such an ordeal with 2 x adult rottweiler x french mastiffs - I would have to take them separately, and would be so nervous about whether there would be other pets in the small lobby, etc. In contrast, Dr Laurence came to our house (this was outside his normal area, but for a small fee didn't mind coming). He called in advance and took time to understand what my concerns were. He was very up front about any limitations that home visits offer (he obviously doesn't have all the testing and facilities of a normal vet). However - i was willing to give it a go. The day of the visit, we did one dog at a time in the carport (COVID-19), and he was very thorough with their examinations. He noticed issues my previous vet hadn't and was also was able to take some samples of some suspicious looking lumps (which he then sends away for fast testing), and meant I didn't have to get this done in-house at a vet. I liked the fact he was very detailed - didn't shrug off any of my concerns. Dr Laurence has a positive attitude and a really laid-back, friendly demeanour. He was good with the dogs, and very generous with his time. He followed up to see how the dogs were going, and called to explain the results a few days later. Would definitely recommend First Paw...general health checks can be done in the ease of your own home - and if your pets need follow up care in-house at a vet clinic, he'll advise on where to go/and what to request.

We contacted First Paw Mobile Vet as we couldn't get an appointment at our local vet. Our cat (Tiger) had been involved in a fight and was injured so he needed attention. Dr Laurence was amazing! He arrived on time, was very gentle and attentive to Tiger. Checked him out, treated the injury, gave him the necessary injections and medication and even followed up on Tiger's recovery a few times. Something our local vet had never done. Having Dr Laurence come to the house to treat our cat saved us and Tiger a lot of stress and anxiety by not having to get Tiger in the basket/cage( which is always a challenge) and wait in a waiting room. Highly recommend First Paw Mobile Vet and will definitely use again!
First Paw and Dr Laurence have been great! We booked a check up for our cat as he had a sore eye, deciding that the best option was a mobile vet as he is extremely nervous. Laurence was able to calm him down really quickly and was really thorough, juggling tests and equipment whilst keeping the cat calm and still. He gave the eye a good clean and the cat was immediately more happy afterwards, and he also prescribed a course of treatment which has completely cleared the issue up. Laurence has checked in a few times after the appointment to see how our cat is going, and has really shown that he cares and wants him to get better. I would highly recommend First Paw!

I can’t thank Dr Laurence and First Paw Mobile Vet enough for today! My poor old cat developed a very painful lump on his spine and was so uncomfortable and irritable that the vets at the clinic couldn’t even get close enough for a proper exam. They sent us home with some pain relief and advise to monitor, but he still wasn’t himself. I was worried about putting my boy through another stressful car trip and vet visit, so when Dr Laurence came to us, it was a huge relief! Dr Laurence was calm, confident, and incredibly gentle, taking the time to carefully examine my cat right at home. He explained all the possible causes of the lump and talked me through treatment options. Together, we made a plan that made me feel confident and at ease. I’ve never seen my cat so relaxed during and after a vet visit, and the cost was no more than a regular clinic appointment! If your cat gets stressed easily, Dr Laurence is the vet you want. I was really impressed by the service from Dr Laurence. My previous mobile vet had shut down so I found First Paw Mobile through an internet search and was able to get an appointment in less than a week to undertake an annual health check for my cat. Dr Laurence conducts a quick five-minute call with you prior to entering the property so he can get background information on your pet and to identify the best way to care for it during the visit. Once inside, he was very caring with my cat, making sure he didn't do anything to cause any stress. Dr Laurence did a full check and was able to vaccinate my cat, which was great given cat vaccines are hard to come by in Australia at the moment. He also provided guidance on cat teeth cleaning (I had not been made aware of this from previous vets) and gave information and advice on how to manage and seek treatment. Five days after my visit, Dr Laurence followed up with a message to see how my cat was and if there were any issues following the vaccination. To me, this really showed the good level of service that First Paw Mobile provides to ensure your pet is safe and well. I will definitely be using First Paw Mobile going forward and would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking to use a mobile / home visit service.

We have an extremely anxious dog so vet visits are really stressful for him. I was hoping First Paw mobile vet would be a better experience and it 100% was. Laurence was very patient, he took the time to listen to the concerns and to get a thorough background history. He was awesome with our dog, and basically accomplished more in 30 minutes than we've ever been able to do at a vet office. Laurence was also good at explaining everything and followed up the next day. I would highly recommend First Paw and definitely will be using them again!

I got my puppy during the COVID-19 distancing rules, and was pleased to find First Paw Mobile Vet could come to my house so I could be with my puppy while he got his exam and vaccination. They were diligent about wearing a mask & gloves, hand washing, keeping distance from me as much as possible, and keeping the time in my home short, to minimise risk to me and my household, as well as the community. Dr Laurence was thorough, professional and friendly.
Lorence was very helpful and went to a great length to be able to care for my fury friend Jerry. His gentleness and live for animals was seen and his passionate about what he does, would definitely call lorence out again and would recommend his care.
Laurence and his mobile vet service has been a God-send. I have a three year old cat who is very skittish and ran away for five days last time I took him to the vet. Upon arrival, Laurence stayed in his car and called me so we could work out our strategy re Laurence coming into the house and Gavin my cat being in the right spot where he couldn’t hide or cause harm to Laurence or myself. Laurence was so understanding about my stress levels and the stress levels of Gavin and we worked together to make it a successful visit and I was thrilled to have my furry boy vaccinated for another year. Requested Dr Laurence come to my house for my cute Bengal kittens final F3 shot. He was so lovely, my kitten was really non fussed by the experience. Dr Laurence then checked in with me a couple of days later to make sure she was alright. She was and so was I as the worried cat mama, so I’ll definitely be calling on First Paws again next time I need a vet.

Laurence from First Paw was brilliant and I would totally recommend this service. I have a 13 year old Keeshond who has a medical history that would rival most humans and therefore it is almost impossible to get her into the car and to the vets. Laurence was the 14th mobile vet I had called ( none of the others would service my area no matter how ill my pet was). Laurence promptly returned my call and after asking questions he had a fairly good idea of what he was dealing with. Happy to attend the same day and after hours, Laurence called to confirm he was on his way and came spot on the allotted time. He carefully checked Keera’s vitals first and then went on to clean and medicate what turned out to be an open wound that was weeping and bleeding. Laurence explained everything step of the procedure as he went and Keera was calm throughout the entire experience. Add to this, I also received a follow up text the next day to see how the patient was doing. I have used other home vets previously and none have been as thorough and genuinely concerned for Keera’s wellbeing. I would highly recommended and definitely use this service again!!

First Paws was a fantastic experience! My staffy Marli becomes anxious around other dogs which makes seeing a vet difficult. Laurence was communicative, knowledgeable, and empathetic. He connected with Marli easily. He genuinely listened to our concerns and her history, and made helpful, insightful recommendations in order to benefit her health. Dr Laurence was COVID SAFE, friendly and thorough. He handled Brian the cat with care and listened carefully to our concerns. He was able to drain Brian’s cyst expertly and quickly, with Brian’s comfort as high priority. We will definitely using this service again as Brian is blind and his vet stress when he has to be carted elsewhere is off the charts. I have a senior cat who stresses terribly whenever we have to travel to see a vet. This was a great alternative for his health check and vaccination. Booking was very easy and Dr Laurence was great with my cat (who is often very cranky with strangers). He offered great health advice and provided some good recommendations for various products. Very reasonably priced and overall the best, least stress free vet visit we have ever had! Will definitely be booking Dr Laurence for the next check up!
This is a fantastic service, the vet (Laurence) was great, he was very well organised and thourough. It was a much better experience having him come to us, more relaxed for us and our pets. Lawrence is a wonderful vet. He called me before coming into my home and asked a lot of questions about my cat Jimmi. So he is really thorough, which I really appreciate. Unfortunately Jimmi isn't a fan of strangers or strange people touching her (same 😆) But with some sedation on her second visit, he managed to do a thorough examination and vaccination. And also gave me some great advice on what to look for when finding a vet to do her dental work. Will definitely be using his services for any future issues with Jimmi.
After much searching for a mobile vet in the area, I found Laurence. Laurence was quick to respond and extremely thorough and efficient pre visit, during the visit and post visit. The convenience of First Paw is next to none. My 10.5 year old Stanley dog hurt his back and was beside himself with anxiety from the pain. The last thing I wanted to do was put him in the car and take him to the vet, a place that makes him even more anxious! Finding Laurence at First Paw was my greatest discovery ever! Laurence was so calm, gentle and patient with Stanley. He took his time to assess the problem and explained everything we needed to do to achieve recovery. Awesome service provided by veterinarian, Laurence, during the stage 4 COVID-19 lockdown. We started to notice that our border collie was having some issues related to his rear-end and our cat hat been scratching at his face near his ear. We didn't want to deal with the logistics and risk of transporting both pets and also all the additional measures required due to the lockdown at our regular clinic. We setup an online appointment via the website and Laurence arrived right at the scheduled appointment time. We did a 15-minute phone consultation before Laurence entered the property. Laurence was very thorough with the examination and also provided a full general health check on our pets. Very kind and considerate and talked us through all the examinations and provided a lot of background on what was happening, also checking in a few days later. Really lifted the bar beyond what we were used to with our other highly-rated and regarded local clinic, would definitely use the service again without hesitation.

What an incredible business. I’m not sure if me or my baby pup were more nervous about the first vaccines but Lawrence made me (and more importantly my pooch) feel completely at ease. An excellent service that perfectly slipped in around my (always too busy) work schedule, Lawrence had my pup vaccinated, checked and ready to go about his day before my first meeting had even started. But most importantly he did it without a single whelp or yelp throughout the entire process. After hearing horror stories about dogs terrified of the vet, there is no one else I would call on for shots or check ups. I have referred all my friends.

This was my first experience with a mobile vet, and it was amazing. We have a very nervous cat, who hates being in the carrier, even for a 5 minute drive to our regular vet. This was a much better experience for all of us. Our cat was so much more chilled about everything, and as a result, so was I. Will happily use this service again for routine vet visits.

What a sensational service! As a first time puppy owner the idea of taking my puppy to the vet just for a puppy check up was daunting. To have the stress of transportation removed and little Baxter seen in his own environment was a relief but Dr Laurence's value is not just limited to convenience. He was very generous in sharing advice and tips for future care, very professional but relaxed and calming at the same time. I will have a local vet but will use First Paw as well. Oh and my puppy liked Dr Laurence so much that he tried to follow him out the gate!

The mobile VET was fantastic! Found this to be super convenient as we found ourselves constantly postponing getting to the VET for our cats' standard vaccinations and boosters. Dr Laurence is amazing. His home service is easy to book, reliable, well priced and my frenchies just love him. I started using his service during covid and will continue to in the future as it’s soooo much easier than trying to wrangle two excitable dogs into the car and manage them in a vets surgery. Just the smells of lots of other animals in the vets sends them both into a frenzy and we usually all come home exhausted. With the home service they are calm (well, as much as they can be) and are happy to be examined as they’re in their home environment. It’s just so easy and a service I highly recommend. 😁

The absolute best doctor for your baby. He was so friendly and helpful. So knowledgeable and super thorough with his diagnosis. He was so gentle to my baby girl Duri and his prices were honestly so good!! While other money hungry clinics were charging 200 dollars for a 5 min consultation, he went out of his ways to call before entering my house to ask about her temperament, her diet, her history,.. EVERYTHING!! He didn’t even mind coming into my bathroom do all the examinations because of how anxious Duri was. Literal god sent. Could not recommend more!! Soooo convenient in terms of not having to travel anywhere but also reduces the stress of being in a carrier for my cat. She got noticeably better after just two days too!! I honestly cannot thank Dr. Laurence enough- you can really tell he does this job because he actually cares! ❤️

First Paw Mobile Vet is a fantastic service! Dogs are a great judge of character and my dog absolutely loved Laurence. He is super professional and genuinely cares for the animals. The convenience of having the vet come to you where you pet feels safe is amazing and the covid policy he puts in place ensures that everyone feels safe. Will be using this service for all my puppy needs.
Dr Lawrence was incredibly thorough. He explained everything in a manner that was easy to understand and answered all of my questions. Dr Laurence came to our house earlier this week to treat our Staffy x who had been unwell for a few days. He arrived before time and greeted us all so warmly and with such a calm demeanour. He took the time to listen to the history as he sat on the floor giving our usually highly anxious dog a chance to relax and approach Laurence in his own time. Laurence was extremely knowledgable and took the time to explain everything in detail, making sure every base was covered. He works closely with the local vet clinics and is careful to present the options. He even discovered a dental issue with our dog that had previously gone unnoticed so that was a bonus of the examination. Vet visits are usually highly stressful for us and our dog so this was such a positive experience, one that we would highly recommend for any pet owner. We will be using First Paw Mobile Vet Service from now on and have already recommended Laurence to friends and neighbours.
I can't get my dog anywhere near a vets since he had to stay 3 nights in the animal hospital at 6 months old; he's very nervous. Dr Laurence was gentle and patient and my dog was treated without causing any of us any stress! I highly recommend Dr Laurence
First Paw mobile vet is a game changer! Our cat, Frida refused to go in the box to the vet, she seemed traumatised to get in - very defensive and scratchy. Dr Laurence provided a phone consult before coming in and then came over to give Frida her first check up at home. Dr Laurence provided clear instructions and helpful information to keep Frida healthy. He ensured minimal stress for Frida (and us!) and excellent customer service. Highly recommended!

Dr Laurence puts your mind at ease and is a professional vet. The at home service is convenient for our shy rescue cat who prefers to be in her home surroundings. Typically she likes to venture off and hide, but Laurence has a way of making her feel calm whilst getting her vaccine and check-up. The service is convenient and affordable. The only wish I had, was to have a remember client detail booking feature so we don't have to refill the appointment form each time. Other than that, the service is exceptional. Highly recommend Dr Laurence and First Paw Vet for your pets health and care.

Dr. Laurence clearly cares for the clients under his care. He is professional with his advice and he follows up to make sure that your pet is doing fine. I'm happy to recommend his services if your pet hates travelling to the vet (like my cat).

Laurence was brilliant - being pandemic times, he made sure to limit the amount of time spent in the apartment by having a phone chat prior to coming up. Very professional, knowledgeable and super friendly, even though Roxy wasn’t the happiest after getting her vaccination, I’m sure she was very glad to avoid the car trip to the vet! Such an easy process of booking, made the whole experience wonderful.

Dr Laurence was gentle with Henny (our 5yo cat) upon assessing him - most especially during his vaccination. Henny was comfortable with him although awkward, he hasn't seen a vet for a few years and is an indoor cat so the First Paw Mobile Vet service is perfect for him. Dr Laurence was open to answering questions and was also across the info I provided about Henny initially. Great experience for us and Henny - will definitely continue with Dr Laurence for our general vet needs 🙂
Usually going to the vet is a stress inducing episode but our cat Nola was so well behaved at home with Laurence with First Paw - we will be using these guys again!
Laurence from First Paw’s service was second to none. He showed genuine care and respect for myself and my pup while being quick and effective. He was more than happy to answer any questions I had and provided some great hints and tips to care for pooch. So friendly! The mobile VET service is great and incredibly convenient for us busy city slickers.

Laurence was great. It took him one visit to correctly diagnose and resolve an issue our regular vet had missed. He took the time to follow up after our appointment to check how the treatment was going, and the mobile aspect of his service is so much more convenient than trying to get to a clinic.
