First Paws was a fantastic experience! My staffy Marli becomes anxious around other dogs which makes seeing a vet difficult. Laurence was communicative, knowledgeable, and empathetic. He connected with Marli easily. He genuinely listened to our concerns and her history, and made helpful, insightful recommendations in order to benefit her health. Furthermore, he paid attention to her wellbeing -not just her physical health- which is imperative but can be hard to find in a vet. I highly recommend First Paws.

This was the best service! I wanted to save Tiger the stress of a Vet visit and Laurence was sensational. Booking online was seamless and he rings and does all the history beforehand so he can just concentrate on your pet when he arrives. Complete confidence in Firstpaw! Since the first day my old Labrador met Dr Laurence, we realized how excellent professional he is. He took the time to answer all my questions, listened to Koome history and continued a follow-up after the visit. In addition, he is sensitive friendly and nice with pet owners. So, without doubt, when my almost 16-year-old dog needed to say goodbye to us, I called Laurence to accompany Koome to the end of her beautiful life. He and the nurse were very respectful and sensitive at this difficult time. Koome slept peacefully in the best hands. He is really the best vet I met, and I recommend him 100%. Like many people I bought a puppy during COVID. Trying to get to Vets that were Open, and had availability, plus maintaining social distancing was difficult. I stumbled over First Paw while researching my options. Finding a vet that did home visits in a safe and professional manner was awesome! They have been with me through the whole gamut of pet owning, from Vaccinations, through to puppy infections, plus I have an allergy dog. First Paw are very responsive when looking for advice, or what to do in an emergency, and all my puppy needs.

Had my puppy's first consult with Laurence a week or so ago - highly recommend! I was expecting to just get a quick look at her, administer her vaccine and off to the next appointment. Instead he was super proactive about making sure Marceline has been set up properly and very attentively listened to the couple of concerns and questions I had. He made sure to address them very thoroughly and you can tell how much he cares about the well being of your animal companion.

I moved to the city about a year ago and it's not very convenient to get 2 cats and a puppy to the vet! I looked on Google and came across First Paw - booking online was extremely simple and offered great hours of availability. Laurence himself is very patient - my puppy is wriggly, one cat hates strangers and the other loves to go through all the equipment! - and very methodical whilst also getting things done quickly to reduce their stress. Very pleased and would recommend his services to anyone :)

I was really impressed by the service from Dr Laurence. My previous mobile vet had shut down so I found First Paw Mobile through an internet search and was able to get an appointment in less than a week to undertake an annual health check for my cat. Dr Laurence conducts a quick five-minute call with you prior to entering the property so he can get background information on your pet and to identify the best way to care for it during the visit. Once inside, he was very caring with my cat, making sure he didn't do anything to cause any stress. Dr Laurence did a full check and was able to vaccinate my cat, which was great given cat vaccines are hard to come by in Australia at the moment. He also provided guidance on cat teeth cleaning (I had not been made aware of this from previous vets) and gave information and advice on how to manage and seek treatment. Five days after my visit, Dr Laurence followed up with a message to see how my cat was and if there were any issues following the vaccination. To me, this really showed the good level of service that First Paw Mobile provides to ensure your pet is safe and well. I will definitely be using First Paw Mobile going forward and would highly recommend them to anyone that is looking to use a mobile / home visit service.

You can see the passion for animals in the eyes of Dr Laurence when he interacts with your pet. He was incredibly easy to talk to and detail oriented to the tee. He even provided a puppy starter guide to help make our lives easier. Definitely give him a buzz if you are looking for a mobile vet!

Dr Laurence is an exceptional vet and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. He is reliable and responsive. When he visited my home, he quickly worked out the best approach for my dog's needs with care and insight. High degree of professionalism combined with a genuine, down-to-earth manner. He followed up afterwards to make sure everything was going well. It’s a relief to find a vet so thoughtful, skilled and easy to deal with.
