Book a Mobile Vet in Alphington

We booked last minute on a Friday night and Dr Laurence was here exactly on time Saturday morning. We had just adopted our very skittish cat and Dr Laurence handled him with such care. I really appreciated the follow up texts a few day later. I will only be using First Paw in future for the convenience and affordability (not much more than I've paid for in office visits which can be traumatic for both pet and owner). I highly recommend Dr Laurence!

Revelation! With a very sweet but highly reactive rescue terrier (Peach) we have had some less than ideal vet experiences. Laurence was keen to understand Peach and her behaviour and took the time to get to know her and strategise with me how to give her the vaccination. I can safely sat this is the best vet experience Peach has ever had.

Laurence was very helpful and generous with his time and the way he helped take care of my two kittens.

First Paw Mobile Vet was wonderful to deal with from the get-go. My anxious cat Jesse was due for his annual vaccinations and check-up but doesn’t cope going to the vet clinic. Dr Lawrence provided a thorough phone consult before coming in and set the scene for a smooth and trauma-free appointment. He was fantastic with Jesse and provides an invaluable service for sensitive pets – would highly recommend!

Wealth of knowledge from Laurence and really appreciated the follow up messages/advise. Daisy my 10 week old puppy had her second vaccination with him and she absolutely loved him. She was completely at ease with her check up and injection. Daisy is excited for her upcoming final injection and it makes it so much easier from the comfort of your home.

Dr Laurence was very professional and you can tell that he really cares for your pet. It was easy to make a booking and the service is very convenient. The initial phone call was super friendly and the consultation was clear and thorough. He also followed up and sent a message a few days later to check up on my pup which was amazing. First Paw Mobile Vet is a fantastic service! Dogs are a great judge of character and my dog absolutely loved Laurence. He is super professional and genuinely cares for the animals. The convenience of having the vet come to you where you pet feels safe is amazing and the covid policy he puts in place ensures that everyone feels safe. As a first time cat adopter I reached out to First Paw for a health check for Hedy and some general advice on her care. Laurence was punctual, communicative, clearly loves animals and was very generous with his time and guidance. Dr Laurence was great, he spent time really getting to know my 8 week old puppy, examining and playing with him. He also took care to talk me through some common conditions of the breed, plus best practice for training. He’s been back since and received a very warm welcome from our pup. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic service, the vet (Laurence) was great, he was very well organised and thourough. It was a much better experience having him come to us, more relaxed for us and our pets. Laurence is very approachable and knowledable so he will answer any questions and explains everything very well. Prices are very reasonable, so even with the call out fee it was still cheaper than visiting a vet sugery, great value. I have recommended this service to everyone I know and will be a loyal customer myself from now on.
