DR Laurence, Took the time before the visit to call me and understand who Mr Ferguson was and what he was like. He’s a rescue cat with some pretty big trust issues, so I really appreciated the effort to understand him beforehand.

When he arrived, he was so calm, and gentle, which made me feel like everything was going to be okay. He not only gave Mr F his FIV shot, but also gave him a quick check over and gave me some really helpful tips.

To top it off, he followed up with a text afterwards to see how Mr F was doing. That level of care really meant a lot.

Would absolutely recommend!

I was so worried about our cat seeing Dr Laurence as he is a real scaredy cat of people he doesn’t know. Dr Laurence was so wonderful with him and our cat wasn’t as scared as I thought he would be, and let him perform an examination - I was so relieved.😃 Dr Laurence is so professional, gentle and caring, I would definitely recommend him to care for your pets. I have to say, I was very impressed with First Paw and more to the point Lawrence. I made the initial appointment and then I couldn't meet that time, but spoke with First Paw to see if I could get Lawrence out to my home and Lawrence called me and we set a time. I am always a little bit apprehensive with taking my two cats to a vet as they get incredibly scared and timid, well Lawrence was absolutely awesome with my two cats, he explained everything very clearly, was fantastic with them, and overall a wonderful experience for all. Cannot fault Laurence with how he treated my cat. He was attentive and took the time to explain the medication thoroughly as well as her condition. Having her treated at home also greatly reduces the stress she feels when being transported to the vets. First Paw Mobile Vet is an invaluable service. Will not hesitate to call Laurence again when veterinary attention is needed.

I can't recommend these guys enough! I didn't know a mobile vet service existed until a friend recommended them and I am totally sold. I have a large anxious rescue dog and going to the vet has always been a pain. Something about the rooms at the vet and all the smells freaks my dog out. The service was punctual, way more thorough than some vets I've been to, friendly, well priced and so convenient. I even got a follow up phone call to see how the prescribed treatment was progressing a few days later. Highly recommend!

Definitely book Firstpaw again for my puppy. The best VET ever as Dr. Laurence was very helpful , professional and gentle to my baby, Coco was really like him and relaxed as she always wanted to play with Dr Laurence. He also gave us a lot of advices and how to take care of the puppy. Thanks again for giving my puppy the best vaccinal experience.

Awesome service provided by veterinarian, Laurence, during the stage 4 COVID-19 lockdown. We started to notice that our border collie was having some issues related to his rear-end and our cat hat been scratching at his face near his ear. We didn't want to deal with the logistics and risk of transporting both pets and also all the additional measures required due to the lockdown at our regular clinic. We setup an online appointment via the website and Laurence arrived right at the scheduled appointment time. We did a 15-minute phone consultation before Laurence entered the property. Laurence was very thorough with the examination and also provided a full general health check on our pets. Very kind and considerate and talked us through all the examinations and provided a lot of background on what was happening, also checking in a few days later. Really lifted the bar beyond what we were used to with our other highly-rated and regarded local clinic, would definitely use the service again without hesitation.

Laurence was great especially dealing with my German Shepard. Highly recommended!

This was my first time meeting Laurence he was great. From the care for the cats to the care of entering into a home during covid, he and the experience was first class! He gave amazing feedback and recommendations for my cats and I’ve now found my full time vet moving forward.

We had such a great experience with Dr. Laurence when it came to vaccinating our 4 year old dog, who was too anxious and stressed to set foot in our regular vet clinic after multiple attempts. Laurence showed patience, kindness and persistence throughout his home visit and was able to get the job done efficiently. We highly recommend his services and will definitely be using First Paw again in the future!
