I moved to the city about a year ago and it's not very convenient to get 2 cats and a puppy to the vet! I looked on Google and came across First Paw - booking online was extremely simple and offered great hours of availability. Laurence himself is very patient - my puppy is wriggly, one cat hates strangers and the other loves to go through all the equipment! - and very methodical whilst also getting things done quickly to reduce their stress. Very pleased and would recommend his services to anyone :)

Dr Laurence was great, he spent time really getting to know my 8 week old puppy, examining and playing with him. He also took care to talk me through some common conditions of the breed, plus best practice for training. He’s been back since and received a very warm welcome from our pup. Highly recommend.

Laurence and his mobile vet service has been a God-send. I have a three year old cat who is very skittish and ran away for five days last time I took him to the vet. Upon arrival, Laurence stayed in his car and called me so we could work out our strategy re Laurence coming into the house and Gavin my cat being in the right spot where he couldn’t hide or cause harm to Laurence or myself. Laurence was so understanding about my stress levels and the stress levels of Gavin and we worked together to make it a successful visit and I was thrilled to have my furry boy vaccinated for another year. He also had a quick look at my puppy dog’s teeth and confirmed its time to have them cleaned. Thank you Laurence, I will be making you a firm part of my furry family. Like many people I bought a puppy during COVID. Trying to get to Vets that were Open, and had availability, plus maintaining social distancing was difficult. I stumbled over First Paw while researching my options. Finding a vet that did home visits in a safe and professional manner was awesome! They have been with me through the whole gamut of pet owning, from Vaccinations, through to puppy infections, plus I have an allergy dog. First Paw are very responsive when looking for advice, or what to do in an emergency, and all my puppy needs.

Booked in with Dr Laurence to get my cats vaxxed and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The cost of the appointment was on par and if not cheaper than the cost of travelling to a Vet, but more importantly, the service was incredible. Both of my cats immediately warmed up to him, including the more anxious and skittish one. I booked in to get their vaccinations topped up but left it with so much more information to continue supporting my cats’ lives and wellbeing. Thank you!!

Had my puppy's first consult with Laurence a week or so ago - highly recommend! I was expecting to just get a quick look at her, administer her vaccine and off to the next appointment. Instead he was super proactive about making sure Marceline has been set up properly and very attentively listened to the couple of concerns and questions I had. He made sure to address them very thoroughly and you can tell how much he cares about the well being of your animal companion.
