Excellent advice and care. Seriously well recommended, Laurence (Vet) was extremely helpful, spent time, asked lots of questions, great knowledge base and overall exceptional service.

Laurence from First Paw’s service was second to none. He showed genuine care and respect for myself and my pup while being quick and effective. He was more than happy to answer any questions I had and provided some great hints and tips to care for pooch. So friendly! The mobile VET service is great and incredibly convenient for us busy city slickers.

Dr Laurence puts your mind at ease and is a professional vet. The at home service is convenient for our shy rescue cat who prefers to be in her home surroundings. Typically she likes to venture off and hide, but Laurence has a way of making her feel calm whilst getting her vaccine and check-up. The service is convenient and affordable. The only wish I had, was to have a remember client detail booking feature so we don't have to refill the appointment form each time. Other than that, the service is exceptional. Dr Laurence was great with all three of our cats whom range from docile to crazy. Really takes the stress out of heading into a vet clinic for both owner and pet! Dr Laurence was thorough and professional and went above and beyond.

Wasn't sure what to expect with the mobile vet - but I thought it was worth a shot. Going to the vet used to be such an ordeal with 2 x adult rottweiler x french mastiffs - I would have to take them separately, and would be so nervous about whether there would be other pets in the small lobby, etc. In contrast, Dr Laurence came to our house (this was outside his normal area, but for a small fee didn't mind coming). He called in advance and took time to understand what my concerns were. He was very up front about any limitations that home visits offer (he obviously doesn't have all the testing and facilities of a normal vet). However - i was willing to give it a go. The day of the visit, we did one dog at a time in the carport (COVID-19), and he was very thorough with their examinations. He noticed issues my previous vet hadn't and was also was able to take some samples of some suspicious looking lumps (which he then sends away for fast testing), and meant I didn't have to get this done in-house at a vet. I liked the fact he was very detailed - didn't shrug off any of my concerns. Dr Laurence has a positive attitude and a really laid-back, friendly demeanour. He was good with the dogs, and very generous with his time. He followed up to see how the dogs were going, and called to explain the results a few days later. Would definitely recommend First Paw...general health checks can be done in the ease of your own home - and if your pets need follow up care in-house at a vet clinic, he'll advise on where to go/and what to request.

We had an amazing experience with Dr Laurence! Our poor cat was in a bad way with a very swollen face with what appeared to be an infected abscess from an injury caused by a cat or possum. Dr Laurence was very reassuring when he arrived to our home and took it one step at a time to inspect and treat our fur boy! It was so scary seeing our cat so unwell so the last thing I wanted to do was pop him in a cage to take him to the vet - it would have been even more distressing. The professionalism and empathy he showed towards myself and our cat made it clear to me that he is in the right field of work. From injections, to a shaved cheek and small procedure, temperature and weight checks - all was covered in one home visit. I take my hat off to you! Thanks for looking after our Pepi. Dr Laurence is very caring and called us to cancel our appointment and urge us to take our cat to the 24hr vet, where we are now! Recommended!

Laurence was very knowledgeable and compassionate in dealing with my very nervous kitty when she had her check up. The fact that he can come to my home spares us a lot of unnecessary stress. I appreciated the extra follow up - first with some useful aftercare information and then a few days later to see that Meowy was happy and well. I'll be happy to book Laurence for future check ups and would recommend him to anyone who wants to avoid the hassle that comes with getting their reluctant pet to the vet.

The mobile VET was fantastic! Found this to be super convenient as we found ourselves constantly postponing getting to the VET for our cats' standard vaccinations and boosters. Laurence was on time and courteous and explained everything really well....he even talked us through a few different treatment options (without adding any pressure). Archie and Willow say thank you! Highly recommend Laurence. He was wonderful with my 2 cats, even though one of them was rather unhappy with the process. Great service, right on time, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer our questions. Will definitely get him back for the next annual check-up!

First Paw mobile vet is a game changer! Our cat, Frida refused to go in the box to the vet, she seemed traumatised to get in - very defensive and scratchy. Dr Laurence provided a phone consult before coming in and then came over to give Frida her first check up at home. Dr Laurence provided clear instructions and helpful information to keep Frida healthy. He ensured minimal stress for Frida (and us!) and excellent customer service. Highly recommended!
