Mobile Vet in Kensington

It’s been so fantastic having Laurence make home visits to my 12 year Westie Norman. Norman usually hates going to the vet and Laurence’s visits take out all of the anxiety of check/ups for him (and me). Laurence is extremely thorough and professional and works hard to put Norman at ease. Highly recommended.

Like many people I bought a puppy during COVID. Trying to get to Vets that were Open, and had availability, plus maintaining social distancing was difficult. I stumbled over First Paw while researching my options. Finding a vet that did home visits in a safe and professional manner was awesome! They have been with me through the whole gamut of pet owning, from Vaccinations, through to puppy infections, plus I have an allergy dog. First Paw are very responsive when looking for advice, or what to do in an emergency, and all my puppy needs.

Dr Laurence was absolutely fantastic. He came to our home to vaccinate and check our three cats, and the whole experience was calm, professional, and stress-free. He handled each of them so gently and took the time to explain everything clearly. It made such a difference not having to take them into a clinic. We will definitely be using him for all our future general check ups and vaccinations. We’re so grateful and would highly recommend his home-visit service!

Laurence paid our cat Toto a visit last week and he was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was very thorough in explanation of what his skin related issues may be and organised a course of medication. He then followed up to see how Toto was going after a few days of being on the medication. I highly recommend First Paw, particularly with pets that don’t travel particularly well.

Laurence was brilliant - being pandemic times, he made sure to limit the amount of time spent in the apartment by having a phone chat prior to coming up. Very professional, knowledgeable and super friendly, even though Roxy wasn’t the happiest after getting her vaccination, I’m sure she was very glad to avoid the car trip to the vet! Such an easy process of booking, made the whole experience wonderful.

Dr Laurence was very professional and you can tell that he really cares for your pet. It was easy to make a booking and the service is very convenient. The initial phone call was super friendly and the consultation was clear and thorough. He also followed up and sent a message a few days later to check up on my pup which was amazing. My cat isn't the fussiest but I don't drive and he is very heavy to carry, so I opted for a mobile vet. Booking is easy – you can call or book online. The person answering the phone was very friendly and helpful. First Paw was very prompt and very gentle with my cat. The check up, vaccination, and recommendations were handled super efficiently and with care. Aftercare was provided via texted links to PDFs (love this as I am swamped with emails and can't stand loose paper). Very grateful that all pandemic guidelines were followed as I live in a small space, and it made me feel very safe. Thank you, First Paw. The convenience of First Paw is next to none. My 10.5 year old Stanley dog hurt his back and was beside himself with anxiety from the pain. The last thing I wanted to do was put him in the car and take him to the vet, a place that makes him even more anxious! Finding Laurence at First Paw was my greatest discovery ever! Laurence was so calm, gentle and patient with Stanley. He took his time to assess the problem and explained everything we needed to do to achieve recovery. Stanley is back to his normal self and I couldn’t be happier with this service!

What a great service! Laurence was thorough with his check up of my golden retriever. I couldn't recommend this service more for your pet as it took the stress out of going to the vet especially during this time when you can't be with them in the consultations room.
