We had a great experience using first Paw Mobile Vet. Before entering the premises our Vet took the time to have a pre briefing discussion to discuss concerns and symptoms we had been noticing- our cat had just returned after running away for 7 days. When he came in to do the consultation he was professional and friendly, he took his time to thoroughly complete a health check on our cat and was very knowledgeable in prescribing a course of medication to help with her recovery. In addition to this he also checked in via text in the days following to see how she was doing and if recovery was going a expected. The pricing was fair and the convenience of having someone visit our home rather than putting our pet under stress by travelling into a clinic was worthwhile. Would recommend them!

I recently booked in to have my chihuahua vaccinated and his eye checked. Dr Laurence was extremely helpful in fixing his eye problem & was very knowledgeable while vaccinating the puppy. I would highly recommend this service & will be using them ongoing. Thank you so much!

My little fur baby is not a great car traveler, and with the current COVID climate, our vet's policy is she would have to wait in her carrier in the car at the vet prior to her appointment, so to save her anxiety levels (and mine) I decided to give First Paw a go when she needed a check over recently. I was so impressed with Laurence and his professionalism, caring nature and knowledge. He rang me from the car to get a full history on my kitty, and talked me through his process for when he came inside. I mentioned to him that our last vet told me I had very anxious kitten as she would shake and try to wriggle away from the vet every time we went. But not with Laurence, he came into the home with his friendly nature and my little one went right up to him for a sniff over and rarely left the area he was in the whole time. He gave her his full attention for more than the allotted time, left me a sample that he thought might help, and followed up a few days later to see how she was going. Overall, the whole process was so easy and convenient, I'll definitely be using Laurence & First Paw again and would highly recommend him.

We called on First Paw to assist us with a health check of our cat amidst the lockdown in Melbourne, when our usual vet had quite a long wait for the next available appointment. Dr Laurence was friendly and professional, arriving on time and ensuring he used Covid Safe protocols during the visit. He was extremely thorough and knowledgeable in obtaining a health history and whilst examining our cat. Our little guy can be quite skittish with strangers in our home, but Dr Laurence was excellent in keeping him calm and reassured throughout the check up. I highly recommend using First Paw for your pets needs, not only for the convenience of being a mobile vet but also for the high quality of care that they provide.
