First Paw and Dr Laurence have been great! We booked a check up for our cat as he had a sore eye, deciding that the best option was a mobile vet as he is extremely nervous. Laurence was able to calm him down really quickly and was really thorough, juggling tests and equipment whilst keeping the cat calm and still. He gave the eye a good clean and the cat was immediately more happy afterwards, and he also prescribed a course of treatment which has completely cleared the issue up. Laurence has checked in a few times after the appointment to see how our cat is going, and has really shown that he cares and wants him to get better. I would highly recommend First Paw!
Dr Laurence was gentle with Henny (our 5yo cat) upon assessing him - most especially during his vaccination. Henny was comfortable with him although awkward, he hasn't seen a vet for a few years and is an indoor cat so the First Paw Mobile Vet service is perfect for him. Dr Laurence was open to answering questions and was also across the info I provided about Henny initially. Great experience for us and Henny - will definitely continue with Dr Laurence for our general vet needs 🙂
Amazing service by Dr Laurence. This was my first time using a mobile vet for my new puppy and I was extremely happy I did. Dr Laurence is fantastic! Highly recommend. We have a very anxious cat who hates going to an external vet. Dr Laurence was so patient and gentle with Oscar, and really took the time to listen and explain. We are moving interstate shortly and I was very worried about transporting Oscar. Lawrence is a wonderful vet. He called me before coming into my home and asked a lot of questions about my cat Jimmi. So he is really thorough, which I really appreciate. Unfortunately Jimmi isn't a fan of strangers or strange people touching her (same 😆) But with some sedation on her second visit, he managed to do a thorough examination and vaccination. And also gave me some great advice on what to look for when finding a vet to do her dental work. Will definitely be using his services for any future issues with Jimmi.

First time using a mobile vet and Dr Laurence was wonderful with my anxious dog. He was very patient and gentle with my dog who suffers from anxiety and is fearful of people. What an incredible business. I’m not sure if me or my baby pup were more nervous about the first vaccines but Lawrence made me (and more importantly my pooch) feel completely at ease. An excellent service that perfectly slipped in around my (always too busy) work schedule, Lawrence had my pup vaccinated, checked and ready to go about his day before my first meeting had even started. But most importantly he did it without a single whelp or yelp throughout the entire process. After hearing horror stories about dogs terrified of the vet, there is no one else I would call on for shots or check ups. I have referred all my friends.
Highly recommend First Paw, my cat was so much calmer having a vet attend to her at home. I think she even liked Laurence despite all the prodding and poking as he has a nice caring demeanour which put her (and her distressed human - me) at ease. Thank you!
