The First Paw team understands that dropping everything and shooting off to the vet is no simple task, and that’s why we come straight to the front door of St Kilda residents when they are stuck for time. We can assess your animal to identify the cause of any issues and then perform preliminary treatment as necessary, right there in the comfort of your own home. If further diagnostics and or treatment is indicated, we are happy to refer you to your regular vet clinic. If you don’t have one, we can advise, your pet’s health is our top priority.

Prepare for your vet's visit
A quiet room or confined area outdoors is ideal for examination. For small dogs a table or bench is helpful. For anxious cats, please confine them to a space where they can’t run and hide.

During the visit
Upon arrival, the Vet will have a chat and take your pet's history. We will then conduct examination, and provide treatment & expert advice. Payment is required at the time of the visit and can be made preferably by debit/credit card or phone tapping.

After Care
Receive your receipt and pet’s vaccination certificate by email, any veterinary referrals or pet medication scripts can be organised. Follow ups will be carried out in the subsequent days as indicated.
