The convenience of First Paw is next to none. My 10.5 year old Stanley dog hurt his back and was beside himself with anxiety from the pain. The last thing I wanted to do was put him in the car and take him to the vet, a place that makes him even more anxious! Finding Laurence at First Paw was my greatest discovery ever! Laurence was so calm, gentle and patient with Stanley. He took his time to assess the problem and explained everything we needed to do to achieve recovery. Stanley is back to his normal self and I couldn’t be happier with this service!

Thank you Laurence! First time we have used this service, and very impressed. Our cat hated going to the vet, and would work themselves into a complete hissing biting ball of fury. But in using this service, he was able to examined, and gets his vaccinations with no stress and in his own home environment. Both less stressful for the cat and us. We will use again, and would highly recommend.

Taking time to establish why id called on the phone first, everything was covered to ensure on arrival, he knew exactly what he was looking for. Booked an appointment for a home visit vaccination. Booking was easy. Laurence arrived on time and was friendly and professional. Will definitely use these guys again.

Recently, in a time of need for my elderly German Shepherd, I discovered Dr Laurence. Dr Laurence proved to be quite an incredible young man, someone who took the time to understand the situation completely, who with his calm and honest presence gave me the confidence and trust in him that his treatment for my canine friend would be most appropriate. I can attest to the fact that his understanding of the situation and decisive, careful yet no fuss action meant my dog’s difficult problem has completely healed and her spirits are revived. I do not hesitate to recommend DrLaurence, not only for his skill as a vet but his considerate kindness, not only to my dog but extended to myself. I thought, after he left what an unusual and amazing experience – very streamlined, as if we had been visited by a light-footed superhero. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Laurence responds to his messages/calls super quick making it easy to book a checkup for my 2 new cats. He gave me lost of advice and tips on how to keep them in top health, and seems really knowledgeable. It was incredibly convenient for me as the cats are quite timid, and it seems that they were more comfortable as the checkup was in an environment they were semi-familiar with. Appreciate the work! Dr Laurence was absolutely wonderful with my 16.2 year old Labrador. We have used his service 3 times now and I can't highly recommend him enough. He was very gentle, caring and thorough and went above and beyond with #SpencerTheDog's mobility issues. Thank you once again!

This is a fantastic service, the vet (Laurence) was great, he was very well organised and thourough. It was a much better experience having him come to us, more relaxed for us and our pets. Laurence is very approachable and knowledable so he will answer any questions and explains everything very well. Prices are very reasonable, so even with the call out fee it was still cheaper than visiting a vet sugery, great value. I have recommended this service to everyone I know and will be a loyal customer myself from now on.

Usually going to the vet is a stress inducing episode but our cat Nola was so well behaved at home with Laurence with First Paw - we will be using these guys again!

Lawrence is a wonderful vet. He called me before coming into my home and asked a lot of questions about my cat Jimmi. So he is really thorough, which I really appreciate. Unfortunately Jimmi isn't a fan of strangers or strange people touching her (same 😆) But with some sedation on her second visit, he managed to do a thorough examination and vaccination. And also gave me some great advice on what to look for when finding a vet to do her dental work. Will definitely be using his services for any future issues with Jimmi.

Very happy with the service from First Paw. Arrived perfectly on time and admit was a first visit did a comprehensive question session getting to know my animals before meeting them. Then on meeting they were very patient and calm allowing my cats to smell and accept them before conducting the assessment and treatment. I will absolutely use First Paw for all possible at home treatment as the stress levels on my cats was so low it was wonderful!
