Mobile Vet in Richmond

The mobile VET was fantastic! Found this to be super convenient as we found ourselves constantly postponing getting to the VET for our cats' standard vaccinations and boosters. Laurence was on time and courteous and explained everything really well....he even talked us through a few different treatment options (without adding any pressure). Archie and Willow say thank you! Will be using again.

If you need a vet I highly recommend Dr Lawrence. He is very friendly and caring and very thorough. He clearly explains everything and it is always a pleasant experience when he visits.

Since the first day my old Labrador met Dr Laurence, we realized how excellent professional he is. He took the time to answer all my questions, listened to Koome history and continued a follow-up after the visit. In addition, he is sensitive friendly and nice with pet owners. So, without doubt, when my almost 16-year-old dog needed to say goodbye to us, I called Laurence to accompany Koome to the end of her beautiful life. He and the nurse were very respectful and sensitive at this difficult time. Koome slept peacefully in the best hands. He is really the best vet I met, and I recommend him 100%. Thanks Laurence, I really appreciate your professional, kind and amazing service!

We booked last minute on a Friday night and Dr Laurence was here exactly on time Saturday morning. We had just adopted our very skittish cat and Dr Laurence handled him with such care. I really appreciated the follow up texts a few day later. I will only be using First Paw in future for the convenience and affordability (not much more than I've paid for in office visits which can be traumatic for both pet and owner). I highly recommend Dr Laurence!

What an incredible business. I’m not sure if me or my baby pup were more nervous about the first vaccines but Lawrence made me (and more importantly my pooch) feel completely at ease. An excellent service that perfectly slipped in around my (always too busy) work schedule, Lawrence had my pup vaccinated, checked and ready to go about his day before my first meeting had even started. But most importantly he did it without a single whelp or yelp throughout the entire process. After hearing horror stories about dogs terrified of the vet, there is no one else I would call on for shots or check ups. I have referred all my friends.

Dr Laurence is an exceptional vet and I couldn’t recommend him more highly. He is reliable and responsive. When he visited my home, he quickly worked out the best approach for my dog's needs with care and insight. High degree of professionalism combined with a genuine, down-to-earth manner. He followed up afterwards to make sure everything was going well. It’s a relief to find a vet so thoughtful, skilled and easy to deal with.

Nelson my 5yr old 60kg Belgium Shepherd was in obvious pain continual crying followed by screeching when he would try to stand up, bloated stomach - nothing made sense we thought Nelson was dying right in front of us. My little fur baby is not a great car traveler, and with the current COVID climate, our vet's policy is she would have to wait in her carrier in the car at the vet prior to her appointment, so to save her anxiety levels (and mine) I decided to give First Paw a go when she needed a check over recently. I was so impressed with Laurence and his professionalism, caring nature and knowledge. He rang me from the car to get a full history on my kitty, and talked me through his process for when he came inside. I mentioned to him that our last vet told me I had very anxious kitten as she would shake and try to wriggle away from the vet every time we went. But not with Laurence, he came into the home with his friendly nature and my little one went right up to him for a sniff over and rarely left the area he was in the whole time. He gave her his full attention for more than the allotted time, left me a sample that he thought might help, and followed up a few days later to see how she was going. Overall, the whole process was so easy and convenient, I'll definitely be using Laurence & First Paw again and would highly recommend him.

“We prefer the less intrusive environment”. Says our cats. It is so much less stress having Laurence visit our home and see the cats in their own environment. They think he’s just an odd family friend who takes extra interest in them and their weight and teeth 😹 Highly recommend. Experienced, reliable, kind & very in tune to the pets.

The humorous and gentle doctor Laurence came to my home with a temperature of 37 degrees to give my kitten a physical examination and vaccination .He got along well with Momo and provided us prefect services. Thank him a lot🥳 …
