This was the best service! I wanted to save Tiger the stress of a Vet visit and Laurence was sensational. Booking online was seamless and he rings and does all the history beforehand so he can just concentrate on your pet when he arrives. Complete confidence in Firstpaw! Like many people I bought a puppy during COVID. Trying to get to Vets that were Open, and had availability, plus maintaining social distancing was difficult. I stumbled over First Paw while researching my options. Finding a vet that did home visits in a safe and professional manner was awesome! They have been with me through the whole gamut of pet owning, from Vaccinations, through to puppy infections, plus I have an allergy dog. First Paw are very responsive when looking for advice, or what to do in an emergency, and all my puppy needs.

Laurence and his mobile vet service has been a God-send. I have a three year old cat who is very skittish and ran away for five days last time I took him to the vet. Upon arrival, Laurence stayed in his car and called me so we could work out our strategy re Laurence coming into the house and Gavin my cat being in the right spot where he couldn’t hide or cause harm to Laurence or myself. Laurence was so understanding about my stress levels and the stress levels of Gavin and we worked together to make it a successful visit and I was thrilled to have my furry boy vaccinated for another year. He also had a quick look at my puppy dog’s teeth and confirmed its time to have them cleaned. Thank you Laurence, I will be making you a firm part of my furry family. First Paw and Dr Laurence have been great! We booked a check up for our cat as he had a sore eye, deciding that the best option was a mobile vet as he is extremely nervous. Laurence was able to calm him down really quickly and was really thorough, juggling tests and equipment whilst keeping the cat calm and still. He gave the eye a good clean and the cat was immediately more happy afterwards, and he also prescribed a course of treatment which has completely cleared the issue up. Laurence has checked in a few times after the appointment to see how our cat is going, and has really shown that he cares and wants him to get better. I would highly recommend First Paw!

Super happy with our first checkup. Dr. Laurence was very responsive and thorough with the exam and made sure all our questions were answered. Appreciate the follow-up a few days later to see how our dog is after our booking. We would definitely go to him for our next check-up and vax.

Dr Laurence came to our house earlier this week to treat our Staffy x who had been unwell for a few days. He arrived before time and greeted us all so warmly and with such a calm demeanour. He took the time to listen to the history as he sat on the floor giving our usually highly anxious dog a chance to relax and approach Laurence in his own time. Laurence was extremely knowledgable and took the time to explain everything in detail, making sure every base was covered. He works closely with the local vet clinics and is careful to present the options. He even discovered a dental issue with our dog that had previously gone unnoticed so that was a bonus of the examination. Vet visits are usually highly stressful for us and our dog so this was such a positive experience, one that we would highly recommend for any pet owner. We will be using First Paw Mobile Vet Service from now on and have already recommended Laurence to friends and neighbours.

Awesome service provided by veterinarian, Laurence, during the stage 4 COVID-19 lockdown. We started to notice that our border collie was having some issues related to his rear-end and our cat hat been scratching at his face near his ear. We didn't want to deal with the logistics and risk of transporting both pets and also all the additional measures required due to the lockdown at our regular clinic. We setup an online appointment via the website and Laurence arrived right at the scheduled appointment time. We did a 15-minute phone consultation before Laurence entered the property. Laurence was very thorough with the examination and also provided a full general health check on our pets. Very kind and considerate and talked us through all the examinations and provided a lot of background on what was happening, also checking in a few days later. Really lifted the bar beyond what we were used to with our other highly-rated and regarded local clinic, would definitely use the service again without hesitation.

As a first time cat adopter I reached out to First Paw for a health check for Hedy and some general advice on her care. Laurence was punctual, communicative, clearly loves animals and was very generous with his time and guidance. Lawrence is a wonderful vet. He called me before coming into my home and asked a lot of questions about my cat Jimmi. So he is really thorough, which I really appreciate. Unfortunately Jimmi isn't a fan of strangers or strange people touching her (same 😆) But with some sedation on her second visit, he managed to do a thorough examination and vaccination. And also gave me some great advice on what to look for when finding a vet to do her dental work. Will definitely be using his services for any future issues with Jimmi.
