Dr Laurence was great, he spent time really getting to know my 8 week old puppy, examining and playing with him. He also took care to talk me through some common conditions of the breed, plus best practice for training. He’s been back since and received a very warm welcome from our pup. Highly recommend.

Booking process is all online and simple to follow. The vet came on time and was very professional. Service is super convenient especially if you don't have a car in the city. Prices are fair for the service provided.

I was very impressed with Laurence. He was very thorough upon arrival and gentle with my highly anxious fur child. He has great knowledge, is very thoughtful and caring, is very personable and provided some good advice. I will definitely be seeking his services in the future.

Wasn't sure what to expect with the mobile vet - but I thought it was worth a shot. Going to the vet used to be such an ordeal with 2 x adult rottweiler x french mastiffs - I would have to take them separately, and would be so nervous about whether there would be other pets in the small lobby, etc. In contrast, Dr Laurence came to our house (this was outside his normal area, but for a small fee didn't mind coming). He called in advance and took time to understand what my concerns were. He was very up front about any limitations that home visits offer (he obviously doesn't have all the testing and facilities of a normal vet). However - i was willing to give it a go. The day of the visit, we did one dog at a time in the carport (COVID-19), and he was very thorough with their examinations. He noticed issues my previous vet hadn't and was also was able to take some samples of some suspicious looking lumps (which he then sends away for fast testing), and meant I didn't have to get this done in-house at a vet. I liked the fact he was very detailed - didn't shrug off any of my concerns. Dr Laurence has a positive attitude and a really laid-back, friendly demeanour. He was good with the dogs, and very generous with his time. He followed up to see how the dogs were going, and called to explain the results a few days later. Would definitely recommend First Paw...general health checks can be done in the ease of your own home - and if your pets need follow up care in-house at a vet clinic, he'll advise on where to go/and what to request.

Dr Lawrence was incredibly thorough. He explained everything in a manner that was easy to understand and answered all of my questions. Our family member Harry the cat needed his vax papers in order to spend 5 nights in his accomodation whilst we went for a short break. I found Laurence online & I booked an appointment for a weeks time. Laurence was on time and from the moment Harry saw him, he relaxed and had his vax, had his teeth checked and was weighed before he know what was going on. Laurence certainly had a way with animals & we would recommend him 100%

Laurence is an amazing vet. Our dog, Scruffy, is very nervous around new people. He made him feel relaxed and calm. He also got the medicine that we needed for him fast and called us to schedule the visit as soon as the medicine arrived. He is fast, reliable, and cares a lot about animals. Cannot recommend him enough!

Revelation! With a very sweet but highly reactive rescue terrier (Peach) we have had some less than ideal vet experiences. Laurence was keen to understand Peach and her behaviour and took the time to get to know her and strategise with me how to give her the vaccination. I can safely sat this is the best vet experience Peach has ever had.
