Highly recommended! Apqrt from the obvious ease of a vet coming to your home, Laurence is incredibly professional as well. Taking time to establish why id called on the phone first, everything was covered to ensure on arrival, he knew exactly what he was looking for. He put me at ease knowing Archie the Ginger Tom was doing ok. Archie doesnt live being touched so gentle care during vaccination was appreciated. Thanks Laurence, will see you next time!

Dr Laurence was absolutely fantastic. He came to our home to vaccinate and check our three cats, and the whole experience was calm, professional, and stress-free. He handled each of them so gently and took the time to explain everything clearly. It made such a difference not having to take them into a clinic. We will definitely be using him for all our future general check ups and vaccinations. We’re so grateful and would highly recommend his home-visit service!

Awesome service provided by veterinarian, Laurence, during the stage 4 COVID-19 lockdown. We started to notice that our border collie was having some issues related to his rear-end and our cat hat been scratching at his face near his ear. We didn't want to deal with the logistics and risk of transporting both pets and also all the additional measures required due to the lockdown at our regular clinic. We setup an online appointment via the website and Laurence arrived right at the scheduled appointment time. We did a 15-minute phone consultation before Laurence entered the property. Laurence was very thorough with the examination and also provided a full general health check on our pets. Very kind and considerate and talked us through all the examinations and provided a lot of background on what was happening, also checking in a few days later. Really lifted the bar beyond what we were used to with our other highly-rated and regarded local clinic, would definitely use the service again without hesitation.

Highly recommend First Paw, my cat was so much calmer having a vet attend to her at home. I think she even liked Laurence despite all the prodding and poking as he has a nice caring demeanour which put her (and her distressed human - me) at ease. Thank you!

Laurence and his mobile vet service has been a God-send. I have a three year old cat who is very skittish and ran away for five days last time I took him to the vet. Upon arrival, Laurence stayed in his car and called me so we could work out our strategy re Laurence coming into the house and Gavin my cat being in the right spot where he couldn’t hide or cause harm to Laurence or myself. Laurence was so understanding about my stress levels and the stress levels of Gavin and we worked together to make it a successful visit and I was thrilled to have my furry boy vaccinated for another year. He also had a quick look at my puppy dog’s teeth and confirmed its time to have them cleaned. Thank you Laurence, I will be making you a firm part of my furry family. My cat isn't the fussiest but I don't drive and he is very heavy to carry, so I opted for a mobile vet. Booking is easy – you can call or book online. The person answering the phone was very friendly and helpful. First Paw was very prompt and very gentle with my cat. The check up, vaccination, and recommendations were handled super efficiently and with care. Aftercare was provided via texted links to PDFs (love this as I am swamped with emails and can't stand loose paper). Very grateful that all pandemic guidelines were followed as I live in a small space, and it made me feel very safe. Thank you, First Paw. Great mobile vet service. Detailed pre visit phone call, courteous and professional. Followed up afterwards with regular text messages. This was my first experience with a mobile vet, and it was amazing. We have a very nervous cat, who hates being in the carrier, even for a 5 minute drive to our regular vet. This was a much better experience for all of us. Our cat was so much more chilled about everything, and as a result, so was I. Will happily use this service again for routine vet visits.

Our family member Harry the cat needed his vax papers in order to spend 5 nights in his accomodation whilst we went for a short break. I found Laurence online & I booked an appointment for a weeks time. Laurence was on time and from the moment Harry saw him, he relaxed and had his vax, had his teeth checked and was weighed before he know what was going on. Laurence certainly had a way with animals & we would recommend him 100%

The absolute best doctor for your baby. He was so friendly and helpful. So knowledgeable and super thorough with his diagnosis. He was so gentle to my baby girl Duri and his prices were honestly so good!! While other money hungry clinics were charging 200 dollars for a 5 min consultation, he went out of his ways to call before entering my house to ask about her temperament, her diet, her history,.. EVERYTHING!! He didn’t even mind coming into my bathroom do all the examinations because of how anxious Duri was. Literal god sent. Could not recommend more!! Soooo convenient in terms of not having to travel anywhere but also reduces the stress of being in a carrier for my cat. She got noticeably better after just two days too!! I honestly cannot thank Dr. Laurence enough- you can really tell he does this job because he actually cares! ❤️

Lawrence was amazing! On time, efficient and gave me so much useful information regarding health of my cat and what I can do to assist her in the future. I will definitely be using First Paw in the future and would recommend anyone in the CBD area to use Lawrence as their vet!

Our first visit from Dr Laurence was fantastic. We have 4 furry family members (2 dogs and 2 cats). It was so convenient having a home visit for their vaccinations especially the cats who hate being bundled into the carrier and freak out at the vet. Dr Laurence is such a natural with animals and had them all very relaxed and happy to have their check ups and shots (even the cats who normally are less than keen to be handled ). He was super patient and reassuring and very thorough checking on all aspects of their health. The trimming the nails of a cat who was less than thrilled at the prospect and normally loses it if anyone tries, was particularly appreciated. Booking was straightforward online and the cost was very reasonable. Thanks Dr Laurence - Muffy, Mojo, Callie and Andy look forward to your next visit (and the treats!).
