Dr. Laurence - highly experienced✅ - responsible✅ - gentle to furry friends🐱🐶✅ - very friendly and patience✅ Strongly recommended !!!
Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful assistance today. We could not have asked for more.
Thanks Laurence for your care in looking after our dog and her sore paw and helpful diet tips for Rufus’ runny poos. Both dogs are doing better. Appreciate the home visit as it made things so much easier to get the dogs checked.
Recently, in a time of need for my elderly German Shepherd, I discovered Dr Laurence. Dr Laurence proved to be quite an incredible young man, someone who took the time to understand the situation completely, who with his calm and honest presence gave me the confidence and trust in him that his treatment for my canine friend would be most appropriate. I can attest to the fact that his understanding of the situation and decisive, careful yet no fuss action meant my dog’s difficult problem has completely healed and her spirits are revived. I do not hesitate to recommend DrLaurence, not only for his skill as a vet but his considerate kindness, not only to my dog but extended to myself. I thought, after he left what an unusual and amazing experience – very streamlined, as if we had been visited by a light-footed superhero. I recommend him highly.
Dr Laurence is great with the dog, take time to explain everything to me.
So convenient, really lovely experience
Would highly recommend!! Our dog, Pepper, is extremely dog reactive which can make trips to the vet very stressful (for us and for Pepper!) Dr Lawrence was great, the visit was quick and easy, and Pepper was definitely a lot happier and relaxed than if we'd taken her out to the vet. Prices are also very reasonable. Will definitely be using First Paw again
Dr Lawrence was amazingly thorough and patient with my anxious boy, there was no judging and the convenience of the in home treatment and exam was great. Would 100% recommend and will use again in the future 👌🏼 …
We contacted First Paw Mobile Vet as we couldn't get an appointment at our local vet. Our cat (Tiger) had been involved in a fight and was injured so he needed attention. Dr Laurence was amazing! He arrived on time, was very gentle and attentive to Tiger. Checked him out, treated the injury, gave him the necessary injections and medication and even followed up on Tiger's recovery a few times. Something our local vet had never done. Having Dr Laurence come to the house to treat our cat saved us and Tiger a lot of stress and anxiety by not having to get Tiger in the basket/cage( which is always a challenge) and wait in a waiting room. Highly recommend First Paw Mobile Vet and will definitely use again!
Laurence and his mobile vet service has been a God-send. I have a three year old cat who is very skittish and ran away for five days last time I took him to the vet. Upon arrival, Laurence stayed in his car and called me so we could work out our strategy re Laurence coming into the house and Gavin my cat being in the right spot where he couldn’t hide or cause harm to Laurence or myself. Laurence was so understanding about my stress levels and the stress levels of Gavin and we worked together to make it a successful visit and I was thrilled to have my furry boy vaccinated for another year. He also had a quick look at my puppy dog’s teeth and confirmed its time to have them cleaned. Thank you Laurence, I will be making you a firm part of my furry family. I couldn’t recommend Laurence more highly. Thank you thank you thank you. Virginia, Gavin and Tilly
Lawrence was amazing! On time, efficient and gave me so much useful information regarding health of my cat and what I can do to assist her in the future. I will definitely be using First Paw in the future and would recommend anyone in the CBD area to use Lawrence as their vet!

How it works
It only takes 2 minutes on average to book an appointment with First Paw mobile vet.
- 2
Prepare for your vet's visit
A quiet room or confined area outdoors is ideal for examination, for small dogs a table or bench is very helpful. For anxious cats, please confine them to a carrier cage, the bathroom or an enclosed room where they can’t run and hide. Please allow a half hour window for us to arrive in case of potential traffic/parking delays. Oh and don’t forget to let us know if your pet has any behaviour quirks we should know about, for safety sake 🙂
- 3
During the visit
The Vet will always call your given contact number upon arrival to have a friendly chat and take your pet’s history. We will then conduct our house-call vet examination from the comfort of your home or workplace and give our expert treatment & advice. Payment is required at the time of the visit and can be made preferably by debit/credit card or phone tapping.
- 4
After Care
Receive your receipt and pet’s vaccination certificate by email, any veterinary referrals or pet medication scripts can be organised. Follow ups will be carried out in the subsequent days as indicated, with your pet’s visit history being sent to any regular or referral veterinary clinic if required.
