Like many people I bought a puppy during COVID. Trying to get to Vets that were Open, and had availability, plus maintaining social distancing was difficult. I stumbled over First Paw while researching my options.Finding a vet that did home visits in a safe and professional manner was awesome!They have been with me through the whole gamut of pet owning, from Vaccinations, through to puppy infections, plus I have an allergy dog. First Paw are very responsive when looking for advice, or what to do in an emergency, and all my puppy needs.

Dr Laurence was great. Punctual, professional and the service provided is something that has been needed for some time. Add well needed a vaccination, not having to wait at the clinic was amazing. Highly recommended.

Our cats Sushi and Miso both hate going to the vet for their annual jabs. And it can be such a traumatising event to even try and put them in their cages each year! I found Laurence online after a bit of googling, and after reading all the positive reviews I thought we should give it a go! And like everyone else in here we had a great experience with him. Booking with him was very smooth, I even had to cancel our first appointment due to covid scare - but he was very helpful and accomodating.On the day of the appointment he rang and found out all about the history of our cats and once he arrived he was very very gentle with our cats - and didn't rush us which often adds stress to the cats and us. The jabs went smoothly, he even managed to cut our girls nails (which normally takes several vet nurses just to hold them down). Very informative all around, friendly and a proffesional service! We will sure to book with him each year goind forward. Many thanks Laurence!

Pickle and Ashey couldn’t have enjoyed a vet visit more, extremely convenient to have Laurence come to us instead of a stressful bet visit for a simple vacation and check up for our puppy and cat! :)

My furbaby hates the cat carrier and since I live alone and don’t drive, getting her check up and vaccination done would have been very difficult without the mobile vet! Very friendly and thorough and unlike many vets didn’t treat a cat as less important than other pets. Highly recommend!

What a sensational service! As a first time puppy owner the idea of taking my puppy to the vet just for a puppy check up was daunting. To have the stress of transportation removed and little Baxter seen in his own environment was a relief but Dr Laurence's value is not just limited to convenience. He was very generous in sharing advice and tips for future care, very professional but relaxed and calming at the same time. I will have a local vet but will use First Paw as well. Oh and my puppy liked Dr Laurence so much that he tried to follow him out the gate!

This is an excellent service. Laurence is a very skilled and professional vet who treated my mum’s beagle. Indie is a very anxious dog and had infected & inflamed eyes. Despite two trips to the vet, they didn’t improve as her anxiety and twitchiness prevented the vet from being able properly inspect and treat her eyes. This made a home visit by Laurence the perfect solution. After a visit from Laurence and a treatment course, Indie’s eyes were back to normal after only a few days. I couldn’t more highly recommend Laurence and first paw mobile vet to care for your beloved animals. Laurence is so thorough, knowledgeable and attentive to your pet’s needs..

I have a senior cat who stresses terribly whenever we have to travel to see a vet. This was a great alternative for his health check and vaccination. Booking was very easy and Dr Laurence was great with my cat (who is often very cranky with strangers). He offered great health advice and provided some good recommendations for various products. Very reasonably priced and overall the best, least stress free vet visit we have ever had! Will definitely be booking Dr Laurence for the next check up!

Booked online, very easy and accessible to book. My cat, Bella is an adopted cat and is very stressed going to the vet. Dr Laurence took the time to get to know my concerns and explained my cats history. He also followed up and checked how she was going. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great experience using first Paw Mobile Vet. Before entering the premises our Vet took the time to have a pre briefing discussion to discuss concerns and symptoms we had been noticing- our cat had just returned after running away for 7 days. When he came in to do the consultation he was professional and friendly, he took his time to thoroughly complete a health check on our cat and was very knowledgeable in prescribing a course of medication to help with her recovery. In addition to this he also checked in via text in the days following to see how she was doing and if recovery was going a expected. The pricing was fair and the convenience of having someone visit our home rather than putting our pet under stress by travelling into a clinic was worthwhile. Would recommend them!

Dr Laurence was great with all three of our cats whom range from docile to crazy. Really takes the stress out of heading into a vet clinic for both owner and pet! Dr Laurence was thorough and professional and went above and beyond.

Had great service from Lawrence who was away on leave, but still called me back regarding our new puppys health check enquriy, and whilst he wasnt able to see us at the last minute which was completly reasonable, even took the time to answer questions, give further recommendations to others and also sent a free e book, will defintely keep in mind for our next visit.

Dr Laurence is amazing. His home service is easy to book, reliable, well priced and my frenchies just love him.I started using his service during covid and will continue to in the future as it’s soooo much easier than trying to wrangle two excitable dogs into the car and manage them in a vets surgery. Just the smells of lots of other animals in the vets sends them both into a frenzy and we usually all come home exhausted. With the home service they are calm (well, as much as they can be) and are happy to be examined as they’re in their home environment. It’s just so easy and a service I highly recommend. 😁

Amazing business - my cat was too anxious to be seen at his normal vet so the in home service was the perfect solution. In fact the cat enjoyed it so much he didn’t want the vet to leave! Highly recommend.

What an incredible business. I’m not sure if me or my baby pup were more nervous about the first vaccines but Lawrence made me (and more importantly my pooch) feel completely at ease. An excellent service that perfectly slipped in around my (always too busy) work schedule, Lawrence had my pup vaccinated, checked and ready to go about his day before my first meeting had even started. But most importantly he did it without a single whelp or yelp throughout the entire process. After hearing horror stories about dogs terrified of the vet, there is no one else I would call on for shots or check ups. I have referred all my friends.

Since the first day my old Labrador met Dr Laurence, we realized how excellent professional he is. He took the time to answer all my questions, listened to Koome history and continued a follow-up after the visit.In addition, he is sensitive friendly and nice with pet owners. So, without doubt, when my almost 16-year-old dog needed to say goodbye to us, I called Laurence to accompany Koome to the end of her beautiful life. He and the nurse were very respectful and sensitive at this difficult time. Koome slept peacefully in the best hands.He is really the best vet I met, and I recommend him 100%. Just had the most amazing experience with Dr Laurence and first paw mobile vet. I am so happy that I stumbled upon the First Paw Mobile Vet service when I was browsing online. I was worried about taking my kitten Zoe to the vet as I am a new cat mommy and she doesn't like public spaces. I live in the city and don't have a car so this was super convenient for me.Dr Laurence is so kind, caring knowledgeable and was so patient throughout and answered all my questions. It's obvious that he loves animals as he showed genuine concern and care about her well-being. Zoe is usually jittery around people but she seemed very relaxed and comfortable around him.Thank you so much for the fantastic service. I highly recommend First Paw Mobile vet service to everyone.

I was so worried about our cat seeing Dr Laurence as he is a real scaredy cat of people he doesn’t know. Our 19 year old cat got to the end of the line. First Paw came to help end her suffering. The vet and nurse at First Paw were just wonderful and very sensitively and respectfully managed this tricky time for us. They never rushed us through this either. Coming to our home was the best thing that we could have done for the cat as she didn't end in fear at all and just slid away peacefully. I recommend First Paw without hesitation.

First Paws was a fantastic experience! My staffy Marli becomes anxious around other dogs which makes seeing a vet difficult. Laurence was communicative, knowledgeable, and empathetic. He connected with Marli easily. He genuinely listened to our concerns and her history, and made helpful, insightful recommendations in order to benefit her health. Furthermore, he paid attention to her wellbeing -not just her physical health- which is imperative but can be hard to find in a vet. I highly recommend First Paws.

Laurence was very knowledgeable and compassionate in dealing with my very nervous kitty when she had her check up. The fact that he can come to my home spares us a lot of unnecessary stress. I appreciated the extra follow up - first with some useful aftercare information and then a few days later to see that Meowy was happy and well.I'll be happy to book Laurence for future check ups and would recommend him to anyone who wants to avoid the hassle that comes with getting their reluctant pet to the vet.

Laurence has been wonderful with our animals. Laurence is an amazing vet. Our dog, Scruffy, is very nervous around new people. He made him feel relaxed and calm. He also got the medicine that we needed for him fast and called us to schedule the visit as soon as the medicine arrived. He is fast, reliable, and cares a lot about animals. Cannot recommend him enough!
